Applicants must show that they have enough financial resources to cover their stay and studies in Italy.
Financial support can be provided by the student, parents, or close relatives (up to the 4th degree of relation).
📌 Minimum Required Funds:
At least €10,179.85 per year should be available in a bank account held in the student’s name.
⚠️ Important Points to Remember:
- Cash money is not considered valid proof of funds.
- Sponsorship from non-family members is not accepted.
- Bank guarantees and insurance surety bonds are not accepted as financial proof.
- Visa authorities do not evaluate only the current account balance or recent deposits. They carefully review the applicant’s and sponsor’s overall financial background, including the stability of monthly income and the ability to support studies and living expenses throughout the stay in Italy.
Make sure your financial documents clearly demonstrate a genuine and sustainable source of funds.
